During December 2024, up202402793 developed two customer-facing features for the FEUP-MEIC-DS-2024-25/ai4sd repository, focusing on frontend development with React and JavaScript. They introduced an “Explore real examples” mode in the Input.js component, allowing users to view real example diagrams within the Diagram Detective Assistant, which enhanced exploratory capabilities. Additionally, they implemented user expertise management by integrating API calls and updating shared UI state, enabling dynamic personalization of the user experience. The work demonstrated a solid grasp of UI/UX principles, state management, and API integration, delivering targeted improvements that increased user engagement and streamlined onboarding without addressing bug fixes.
