Worked on the bioconda/bioconda-recipes repository to deliver a new conda packaging recipe for the protein-mosaic-q package, enabling automated deployment of the Mosaic Q descriptor for protein structure analysis. Focused on Python and YAML to define build requirements, source retrieval, and testing imports, ensuring the package met conda-forge and Bioconda standards. Addressed critical recipe issues by correcting the sha256 hash and updating dependencies, which improved packaging reliability and downstream compatibility. Incorporated continuous integration testing to validate builds, supporting reproducible and scalable bioinformatics workflows. This work streamlined the integration of protein-mosaic-q into bioinformatics pipelines, reducing deployment complexity for end users.
