Developed a flexible apt-packages build argument for Docker and Podman image creation in the moltbot/moltbot repository, enabling runtime-neutral package installation while maintaining backward compatibility with legacy arguments. The solution incorporated comprehensive maintainer verification, CI automation, and extensive dockerfile and workflow testing to ensure reliability and reproducibility. By integrating documentation and changelog checks into the process, the work improved deployment consistency and streamlined image customization across platforms. Leveraged skills in Docker, Shell Scripting, and Continuous Integration, focusing on robust engineering practices and cross-team collaboration. No user-facing bugs were addressed, with efforts concentrated on enhancing build flexibility and maintainability.
