During November 2025, Ibsuser updated the WPS Office package in the ScoopInstaller/Extras repository, focusing on improving the reliability and maintainability of the packaging process. By upgrading WPS Office to version 12.2.0.21179 and removing the checkver section, Ibsuser streamlined version verification and reduced ongoing maintenance requirements. The work centered on package management and version control, leveraging JSON to define and simplify the packaging workflow. This end-to-end change enhanced release readiness and made future updates more efficient.
