Worked on stabilizing the post editing flow in the ushahidi/platform-client-mzima repository, focusing on improving the reliability of media uploads, deletions, and caption updates within the post editing component. Addressed issues that arose during repeated edits by refactoring the handling of form values for media fields, ensuring that uploads, deletions, and captions were processed correctly and consistently. This fix reduced data inconsistencies and unexpected behaviors, enhancing the overall user experience when editing posts. The work was carried out using Angular for front end development, leveraging both JavaScript and TypeScript to implement robust solutions for complex form interactions.
