During February 2025, Lin contributed to the alibaba/ChatLearn repository by enabling external access to the Ray Dashboard, a key feature for distributed system observability. Lin configured the dashboard to bind to host 0.0.0.0 on port 8265, allowing monitoring from external machines and across multi-node environments. This change improved cross-team collaboration and resource management by making distributed workloads more transparent. The work demonstrated practical skills in cluster management, DevOps, and distributed systems, with Python as the primary language.
