Uthpala W. developed a warehouse zone management feature for the AkashMaheema/warehouse-management repository, enabling web-based configuration of warehouse zones. Using Java, JSP, and SQL, Uthpala designed a servlet-backed API supporting full CRUD operations, implemented a Zone model, and created a DAO layer for persistent data management. The user interface, built with JSP and Bootstrap, allows non-technical users to manage zones efficiently. This work established a robust foundation for future zone-based inventory workflows, improving operational accuracy and efficiency. The feature’s end-to-end design demonstrates a solid grasp of web development patterns and database integration within a short project timeframe.
