Worked on enhancing telemetry logging within the aws-greengrass-nucleus repository by upgrading the logging dependency to version 2.4.0-SNAPSHOT. This update enabled support for new telemetry data output features, including the integration of raw EMF data output through updated Java APIs. The approach involved leveraging dependency management and XML configuration to align with evolving nucleus emitter requirements. By enabling LogFormat.RAW and utilizing LogManager.getRawLogger(), the work improved observability and debugging capabilities across the telemetry pipeline. The changes laid the foundation for richer telemetry data handling, supporting future extensibility and more robust monitoring within the Greengrass Nucleus ecosystem.
