Worked on repository hygiene for the Mindtrace/mindtrace project, focusing on improving Git ignore practices to support the Reflex framework and Python development. Consolidated and refined the root-level .gitignore file to systematically exclude framework-generated files, temporary files, caches, compiled Python code, state files, external assets, databases, and web-related files, while preserving necessary environment examples. This configuration management effort reduced the risk of accidental commits and minimized CI churn, streamlining development workflows and supporting future feature integration. Utilized skills in Git and configuration management, with a technical emphasis on Python and gitignore syntax to enhance repository cleanliness and maintainability.
