Worked on the goalgorilla/open_social repository, delivering a backend feature that enables conditional access bypass for related entities during email notifications. This enhancement allows specific message template bundles to skip standard access checks, ensuring users receive relevant notifications even when access restrictions would otherwise apply. The implementation focused on maintaining notification relevance while respecting security boundaries, using PHP within the Drupal framework. No bugs were addressed during this period, and the work laid the groundwork for extending the email workflow to additional templates and bundles in the future. The contribution demonstrated backend development skills and a focus on business-driven feature delivery.
