Worked on enhancing VLC’s media presentation by implementing an Album Art Fallback Display in the videolan/vlc repository. Addressed a common issue where album art fails to load by introducing robust fallback logic in the Lua/HTTP layer, ensuring a default image is shown to users. This solution improved the reliability and visual consistency of the user interface across various devices and network conditions. Utilized front end development skills with a focus on HTML and Lua scripting to reduce UI glitches and potential support requests. The work contributed to a more polished release and improved the overall user experience for VLC users.
