Worked on the cloudflare/workers-sdk repository to deliver in-order WebSocket message processing for Durable Objects, addressing the challenge of maintaining message order even when Durable Objects are hibernated. Developed new WebSocket message handling APIs and updated the Durable Object lifecycle logic to ensure reliable, ordered delivery, which reduces race conditions in asynchronous flows. This feature enhanced the stability of applications using Durable Objects and improved the reliability of Workers Vitest integration. The work demonstrated proficiency in TypeScript, asynchronous programming, and WebSocket protocols, with a focus on robust testing and code quality throughout the Durable Object lifecycle and message handling process.
