During November 2025, Vladimir Bashkirtsev focused on backend reliability for the antinomyhq/forge repository, addressing a critical issue in token usage measurement for Ollama and LMStudio API responses. Collaborating with other contributors, he implemented a targeted bug fix in Rust that corrected the capture and assignment of token usage within response structures. This work ensured that analytics and usage-based metrics could accurately reflect real-world API consumption, supporting downstream reporting and billing. Vladimir’s approach emphasized code quality and regression prevention, leveraging his skills in Rust, API development, and backend systems to deliver a robust solution without introducing new features or instability.
