During March 2025, contributed to the ExpediaGroup/feast repository by developing a security-focused feature for the Feast client. The work centered on implementing the createSecureWithTarget method, which allows secure FeastClient creation using a target URL and optional service configuration. This approach enhanced connectivity to Feast Serving endpoints in secure environments and streamlined the onboarding process for client applications. The solution leveraged Java, network programming, and gRPC to extend the FeastClient API, improving both reliability and security posture. All changes were tracked for traceability, and no major bugs were reported during this period, reflecting a focused and well-executed engineering effort.
