During April 2025, contributed to the ariellalgilmore/carbon repository by expanding the component library with a new input type, unstable__FluidNumberInput, now exposed through the public API. This work focused on enhancing form handling capabilities for downstream applications by designing and validating a new React component using both JavaScript and TypeScript. The process included updating contributor information and related test snapshots to ensure consistency and release readiness. Documentation and targeted tests were added to validate the API surface, reflecting a methodical approach to component library development and frontend engineering. No major bugs were addressed during this period, emphasizing feature delivery.
