Developed and delivered Enhanced Simulation Status Reporting for the google-deepmind/torax repository, introducing comprehensive end-to-end status tracking and integrating sim_error into StateHistory to capture detailed simulation error information. Leveraged Python for backend development and data processing, ensuring robust error capture and improved observability of simulation runs. Employed test-driven development to validate correct status handling across both successful and failed scenarios, which enhanced the reliability of downstream automation. Addressed commit-related issues to stabilize the feature branch and improve continuous integration reliability. The work resulted in richer error data and more dependable status outputs, supporting faster diagnosis and more reliable simulation workflows.
