In December 2024, Max Veillette enhanced the French localization of the phetsims/greenhouse-effect repository by refining scientific terminology and improving translation accuracy. Focusing on internationalization and localization, Max implemented pluralization for key terms such as light sources, target molecules, and bond movements, ensuring grammatical correctness in French. Using FTL as the primary language, Max also adjusted directional terms to better align with French scientific conventions and introduced new localization keys for particle-based molecule descriptions, resulting in more natural phrasing. All updates were delivered in a single, traceable commit, reflecting a focused and maintainable approach to targeted feature development.
