Worked on the openclaw/openclaw repository to address a targeted issue in restart sentinel messaging, focusing on backend development and bug fixing using TypeScript. Delivered a solution that conditionally deduplicates the 'Reason' line in restart messages, ensuring it only appears when distinct from the main message. This approach reduced unnecessary log noise and improved the reliability of restart telemetry. Added comprehensive tests to cover both duplicate and distinct reason scenarios, enhancing test coverage and guarding against regressions. Maintained API stability throughout the process, with no breaking changes introduced, and prioritized observability and triage efficiency over new feature development during this period.
