Worked on the helix-editor/helix repository to deliver a feature enhancing the horizon-dark theme with rainbow highlights, focusing on improving UI readability and visual differentiation. Applied theme development and UI design skills to implement color-coded highlights, enabling users to quickly distinguish elements and syntax within the editor. Utilized TOML for theme configuration, ensuring the changes were traceable through targeted commits and aligned with the repository’s theming system. The work addressed usability by making code structure more apparent, and demonstrated a methodical approach to feature delivery, emphasizing maintainability and clarity in both the user interface and the underlying configuration files.
