Worked on stabilizing the rdkcentral/rdk-wifi-hal repository by addressing a memory management issue in the Wi-Fi HAL module. Focused on debugging and resolving a memory leak related to cJSON object handling, the developer ensured proper cleanup by invoking cJSON_Delete and freeing allocated buffers after use. This targeted fix improved runtime stability and resource utilization for long-running Wi-Fi operations, reducing the risk of resource exhaustion. The work demonstrated proficiency in C programming, memory management, and debugging, with changes that were well-documented and traceable.
