Worked on expanding device monitoring capabilities in the librenms/librenms repository by implementing support for the RUT956 device. This involved updating the rutos-rutx.yaml configuration file and creating a dedicated SNMP test dataset to ensure accurate compatibility and comprehensive test coverage. Leveraging skills in device support, SNMP, and testing, the work focused on enhancing reliability for users deploying RUT956 devices. All changes were validated through continuous integration tests, confirming no regressions and maintaining system stability. The approach emphasized end-to-end coverage, resulting in improved proactive monitoring for the new device within the existing YAML-based configuration and testing framework.
