Developed a cross-language build script and automated test workflow for the ppc64le/build-scripts repository, focusing on the Lingua Language Detector package. The work integrated Python and Rust dependencies to streamline installation and validation, migrating the build process from maturin to pip to simplify developer setup and reduce environment friction. Emphasis was placed on packaging and versioning hygiene, including aligning version numbers with tags and standardizing directory structures for accurate releases. The changes enhanced CI readiness by improving reproducibility and minimizing environment-related failures. All contributions were documented with Signed-off-by lines, ensuring traceability and accountability throughout the development process.
