Worked on the GetStream/stream-chat-go repository to enhance the message moderation API by introducing an optional force_moderation field to the message request structure. This addition allowed clients to explicitly control moderation behavior at the time of sending messages, supporting both policy compliance and client-specific customization. The implementation involved backend development and API design using Go, with careful attention to maintaining backward compatibility and stability. Comprehensive tests and updated documentation were provided to support the new functionality. No release-critical bugs were reported during the period, and the feature was delivered with a focus on robust integration into the existing chat system.
