Worked on the laurent22/joplin repository to deliver two desktop features focused on enhancing user security and editing workflows. Developed real-time password confirmation feedback and clarified warnings in the master password dialog, ensuring users are fully informed about the irrecoverable nature of their master password and the consequences of loss. Improved the markdown editor by adding cut and copy options for selected resource links, streamlining editing tasks and reducing user friction. Leveraged React and TypeScript to implement these front end improvements, emphasizing clear user messaging and robust UX. The work addressed key usability concerns and contributed to a more secure application experience.
