Over six months, contributed to the ynput/ayon-nuke and ynput/ayon-core repositories by building features and resolving bugs that improved pipeline reliability and developer experience. Delivered robust Python-based solutions for plugin development, image processing, and UI enhancements, including automatic node-type detection, dynamic TCL expression evaluation, and metadata verbosity controls. Refactored code for maintainability, enhanced documentation, and implemented governance improvements such as issue templates and CI workflows. Addressed backend and frontend challenges, from error handling in frame parsing to advanced text rendering with Qt. The work emphasized clean code practices, backward compatibility, and scalable integration across API development and Nuke scripting.
