Worked on the webdriverio/webdriverio repository to deliver smart test selection and validation enhancements for test orchestration. Developed a robust mechanism for selecting relevant tests, improved validation for repository URLs and branch names, and refactored file path handling to support more reliable automation. Updated dependencies, including alignment with BrowserStack services and the addition of glob for file matching, to ensure compatibility and maintainability. Removed legacy test ordering logic to streamline orchestration and reduce complexity. Leveraged TypeScript, Node.js, and test automation skills to create more predictable and maintainable CI pipelines, ultimately reducing configuration errors and improving overall reliability.
