Worked on the openshift/release repository to enhance OpenShift Pipelines CI performance by introducing new periodic jobs and reorganizing existing ones for improved reliability and maintainability. The approach involved splitting long-running test scenarios into multiple jobs to prevent timeouts, dropping outdated signing presubmits, and limiting certain scenarios to streamline the CI configuration. Jobs were renamed and grouped for consistency, with cron jobs organized for better clarity. All changes were implemented using YAML and leveraged skills in CI/CD, DevOps, and Kubernetes. The work focused on performance optimization and maintainability, establishing a scalable baseline for future CI improvements without addressing bug fixes.
