Worked on the keycloak/keycloak repository to deliver a secure and efficient credential offer workflow, focusing on backend development and API design using Java. Consolidated the credential offer state into a single cache entry, which reduced cache lookups and streamlined state management. Enhanced security by embedding the offer ID within the nonce and requiring a complete nonce match for retrieval, effectively preventing tampering attempts. Developed comprehensive tests to ensure tampered nonces are detected and rejected, improving reliability. The work aligned with enterprise cache strategies and the Keycloak security model, demonstrating a strong emphasis on both performance optimization and robust security practices.
