Vitaliy Kirichenko developed the Location External Identifier Key feature for the xm-online/xm-ms-entity repository, adding a new 'key' field to the Location entity to support external identification. He approached the task by updating core dependencies, including Hibernate and Spring Boot, to maintain project consistency and stability. Integration tests were expanded to validate the new functionality, ensuring reliable operation within the existing Java backend framework. This work improved data interoperability with external partners and strengthened the entity model for downstream integrations. Over the month, Vitaliy focused on backend development, delivering a targeted feature that addressed business needs without introducing defects.
