Worked on the novuhq/novu repository to expand the platform’s push notification capabilities by integrating the IO App Push Provider into the existing system. Developed a new provider integration with configurable options and a dedicated handler, enabling richer messaging experiences and simplifying the onboarding of future providers. Collaborated with multiple co-authors to deliver this feature, focusing on backend development and API integration using TypeScript. Emphasized robust testing to ensure reliability and maintainability of the new push architecture. The work laid the foundation for a more flexible provider-based system, supporting enhanced messaging workflows and easier integration of additional notification services.
