Developed an API Sandbox Interceptor for the Backbase/golden-sample-app repository, focusing on enhancing the authentication and security of outbound HTTP requests. Leveraging Angular and TypeScript, the work introduced an interceptor that automatically enriches outgoing requests with an API Sandbox header tied to API keys. This approach required careful environment configuration and the use of HTTP Interceptors to ensure that only authenticated requests reach the API Sandbox endpoints. Comprehensive usage documentation and clear steps for obtaining and configuring API keys were provided, streamlining onboarding for API consumers and improving the overall security posture of sandbox testing within the application’s workflow.
