The solution involved refining the comparison logic to distinguish between URL.Host and URL.Hostname, ensuring that redirect validation accurately respects documented URL semantics and reduces the risk of false negatives. Collaborated closely with another contributor to co-author the fix, emphasizing code quality and maintainability.
