Worked on the espressif/qemu repository to enhance virtualization and networking capabilities using C and system programming skills. Developed Vhost-user protocol feature map enhancements, adding support for shared object management and device state transfers, which improved interoperability and state persistence across virtual devices. Addressed networking reliability in QEMU RAW mode by fixing ARP packet handling and ensuring accurate Ethernet packet dumps, thereby increasing stability and observability for virtualized network traffic. The work demonstrated a strong focus on debugging, packet handling, and protocol updates, with careful attention to code quality and documentation, resulting in robust improvements to virtualization infrastructure and network reliability.
