During September 2025, Viyan Delal Altun developed a settings modal with local persistence for the uu-semp/swedish-learning-app-2025 repository. She designed and implemented the modal using HTML and CSS for the interface, while JavaScript modules managed the logic for user preferences. By leveraging localStorage, she enabled the application to remember user settings such as volume and sound effects, supporting both customization and offline use. This work laid the foundation for future accessibility improvements and feature expansion. The project focused on front end development, demonstrating a solid understanding of user experience and state management within a single, well-scoped feature addition.
