Worked on the tnb-software/TNB repository to deliver a consolidated MQ platform upgrade focused on enhancing security, compatibility, and performance. Upgraded the IBM MQ client to version 9.4.5.0 and updated both the AMQ Broker and AMQ Operator to the latest 7.13.x stream, leveraging new features and security patches. Implemented changes to default image naming and operator identity, streamlining containerization and dependency management processes. Utilized Java and XML within a microservices architecture on OpenShift, ensuring the MQ stack is positioned for future enhancements. This work reduced maintenance risk and strengthened the security posture across all deployments using the platform.
