Worked on the OpenSlides/openslides-backend repository to improve backend reliability and build consistency. Addressed database migration by enhancing initial test data, ensuring that foreign key constraints are properly validated during migration tests. This approach increased test coverage and improved the reliability of migration processes. Additionally, synchronized submodule metadata to the latest commit, preventing drift and ensuring that continuous integration and builds consistently use the correct submodule versions. Utilized Python for backend development, applied version control best practices, and focused on robust testing and database migration strategies. The work demonstrated attention to detail in maintaining build integrity and data consistency.
