February 2025: Implemented BLS Signer Management in Babylond startup for babylon, enabling creation/loading of BLS signers with optional password protection or password-free generation. Ensured signer files are properly created, loaded, and validated during node initialization and startup. Applied a backport fix to include BLS signer support in the start command with password options (commit 08eb28344e9d27c9ed8a91e971759e775fdcd863). This work strengthens security, reduces operational friction for operators, and improves reliability during node bootstrap.

January 2025: Delivered the Governance Parameters Query API for the governance precompile in evmos/evmos, including updates to the Solidity interface, Go implementation, and integration tests. Deprecated legacy parameters queries and added a new caller contract for testing. Strengthened end-to-end reliability of governance parameter retrieval and established a migration path for callers.

In November 2024, the Evmos team delivered a comprehensive EVM Precompile Suite for Cosmos modules, expanding cross-chain programmability. Delivered WERC20 precompile (wrapper ERC20), governance proposals queries, slashing precompile, and evidence precompile with end-to-end tests. The work enhances cross-chain interactions, governance, and evidence workflows through the EVM, enabling developers to build more capable dApps. All changes are backed by tests and aligned with the Evmos precompile roadmap. No major customer-facing bugs were introduced this month; emphasis was on feature delivery and test coverage to improve reliability and CI readiness.
