During September 2025, contributed to the JetBrains/intellij-community repository by developing enhancements for the New Project Dialog, enabling users to specify project name, group, artifact, and Jakarta project configuration options. This work focused on improving the onboarding experience for new projects by streamlining configuration flows and providing clearer defaults. The implementation leveraged Kotlin for UI development and incorporated robust software testing practices to validate dialog behavior, specifically aligning with defined test cases. Emphasis was placed on configuration design and adherence to Git-based release hygiene, resulting in a more flexible and reliable project setup process without addressing major bug fixes during this period.
