Worked on the ente-io/ente repository to enhance user-facing UI for secure link sharing and paste workflows. Focused on improving the link creation interface by introducing clearer messaging and interactive elements, which streamlined onboarding and reduced user confusion. Refactored the QR code component to encapsulate close button functionality, increasing modularity and maintainability of the front end. Addressed a regression by restoring the previous title and copy icon in paste-related panels, ensuring consistent user experience. All changes were implemented using React with JavaScript and TypeScript, emphasizing traceable commits for straightforward review and rollback, and enabling easier future testing and iteration.
