Worked on the pinterest/mojito repository to enhance the PrintfLikeIntegrityChecker, focusing on stability and localization improvements for translation workflows. Developed a normalization process that converts non-positional placeholders to positional format, increasing compatibility with translation management systems and reducing translation rework. Improved the placeholder parsing logic using Java and advanced regex techniques, introducing negative lookbehinds and handling escaped percentages to prevent false positives from text percentages. Expanded unit test coverage with 45 targeted tests, updated documentation, and improved code formatting for maintainability. Collaborated closely with another contributor, emphasizing code quality and reliability throughout the development and review process.
