Worked on the tiptap repository to improve the stability of the Bubble Menu during the editor’s lifecycle, focusing on resolving a TypeError that occurred when the editor was destroyed. Addressed this issue by introducing defensive coding practices, including comprehensive null checks and enhancements to the virtualElement getter, ensuring robust handling of view and parentNode references. The work emphasized reliability in production deployments and maintainability of the bubble-menu plugin, with additional attention to code quality through lint fixes and formatting improvements. Utilized TypeScript and front end development skills, applying plugin development expertise to deliver targeted bug fixes and stability enhancements.
