Worked on stabilizing the DeepGram speech-to-text file upload workflow in the abeiro/HerikaServer repository, focusing on backend development and error handling using PHP. Addressed a persistent 400 Bad Request error by refactoring the API integration to utilize cURL for file uploads, which improved reliability and reduced user-facing issues. The approach included targeted code cleanup to enhance readability and maintainability, laying a stronger foundation for future DeepGram integrations and monitoring. This work emphasized robust file handling and API request management, resulting in fewer support tickets and a more stable upload process, while demonstrating attention to code quality and long-term maintainability.
