Worked on the getsentry/sentry-python repository to deliver a new feature for the Litestar integration, enabling configurable handling of HTTP status codes considered as failures. Developed in Python, this enhancement allows users to specify which status codes should trigger error reporting, providing greater flexibility in error tracking and integration development. The implementation involved updating initialization logic and exception handling to support the new configuration, with a focus on robust error handling practices. Comprehensive tests were added to validate the configuration and guard against regressions, ensuring stability and reliability.
