During June 2025, Vydmantas Kavaliauskas focused on enhancing the slideshow component for the wix-incubator/pro-gallery repository. He improved navigation behavior and end-of-gallery handling by refining slider navigation arrows based on item position and loop settings, which addressed edge-case user interactions. His work included correcting the isLastItem invocation to ensure reliable detection of the gallery’s end, simplifying the underlying logic, and refactoring code to improve maintainability. Using JavaScript and React, Vydmantas delivered a targeted feature that increased the reliability and user experience of gallery navigation. The scope of work was focused and addressed a specific area of front-end development.
