Worked on enhancing the KodyPay/kp-protocols-clientsdk by enabling a configurable 'pay by bank' option within the payment initiation flow. This involved adding an is_pay_by_bank_accepted flag to the PaymentInitiationRequest message in the ecom.proto file, allowing the feature to be toggled based on Kody store configuration. The implementation prioritized backward compatibility by extending the existing protobuf definitions without disrupting current clients. Leveraging skills in API development and gRPC, the developer ensured a controlled rollout of the new feature through feature-flag gating, maintaining stability and minimizing changes to the API surface while supporting evolving payment options in the SDK.
