Wojciech Smigaj developed and validated a dedicated testing infrastructure for the ensemble_statistics filter within the JCSDA-internal/ufo-data repository. He designed and implemented new test files to rigorously assess the filter’s functionality, focusing on automated regression detection and improved reliability in the data processing pipeline. Leveraging his skills in testing and continuous integration, Wojciech expanded test coverage to enable early detection of issues and laid the foundation for seamless CI integration. His work, primarily using Python and YAML for test orchestration and configuration, provided a robust framework that accelerates validation cycles and enhances confidence in ensemble statistics outputs.
