Worked on stabilizing WLAN metrics within the librenms/librenms repository, focusing on backend development and network monitoring using PHP. Addressed a critical bug affecting the WLAN AP Channel Interference Index calculation by introducing a missing division operation, which corrected the metric’s accuracy and reduced the risk of misreporting. This fix improved the reliability of interference data, supporting more informed network optimization decisions. The work demonstrated a clear, traceable process from issue identification to resolution, utilizing Git-based collaboration. Although no new features were added during this period, the targeted bug fix contributed to the overall stability and quality of network monitoring.
