Worked on the RSSNext/Folo repository to enhance Obsidian vault path handling and the export pipeline, focusing on reliability and multilingual support. Developed a native macOS folder picker using Node and React, introducing three-state path validity checks to streamline vault selection. Improved YAML frontmatter parsing in JavaScript and TypeScript to support Chinese and special characters, ensuring metadata integrity. Enhanced the export process by integrating AI-generated summaries and author fallbacks, and addressed critical errors such as EPERM and ENOENT to prevent export failures. These updates resulted in smoother onboarding, reduced errors, and more consistent exports for both internal teams and collaborators.
