During March 2026, contributed to the navikt/pensjon-verdande repository by implementing the Biome Schema Local Reference feature. This work involved updating biome.json to reference a local schema within node_modules, replacing the previous reliance on a remote schema. The approach focused on configuration management using JSON and Node.js, aiming to reduce maintenance overhead and improve build reliability. By localizing the schema reference, the solution minimized the risk of schema drift and made builds more predictable, especially when dependencies changed. The change was documented with clear commit traceability, supporting reproducible builds and enabling faster adaptation to future dependency updates without external disruptions.
