Walid Ben Romdhane delivered a comprehensive removal of the ArmNN Execution Provider from the CodeLinaro/onnxruntime repository, focusing on aligning the codebase with recent deprecation requirements. He systematically eliminated all related build flags, provider registration, APIs, tests, packaging references, and documentation, ensuring no residual ArmNN references remained. Working primarily in C++ and applying his expertise in API design and software architecture, Walid improved the repository’s maintainability and reduced build complexity. This work addressed potential misconfigurations and clarified the product surface for downstream users, demonstrating a thorough and methodical approach to large-scale codebase refactoring within a short timeframe.
